It was there that the billionaire started the company’s credit investment business, took on all business asset management responsibilities and became the company’s chairman.

Todd then struck a major deal in 2013, between Time Warner Cable and the famed Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team to create SportsNet LA – a regional network to broadcast all things Dodgers. But he only came into play the following year.
