Watch: “Work Later, Drink Now 2” Teases Lee Sun Bin, Han Sun Hwa, and Jung Eun Ji’s Short-Lived Alcohol Cure + Cameos from Jo Yu Ri, Son Ho Jun, and More in Highlight Clip

“Work Later, Drink Now 2” has unveiled an exciting new teaser with a preview of many special appearances!

Based on a popular webtoon, “Work Later, Drink Now” tells the story of three women whose life philosophies revolve around having a drink after leaving work. Lee Sun Bin stars as TV writer Ahn So Hee, Han Sun Hwa plays yoga teacher Han Ji Yeon, Apink’s Jung Eun Ji plays origami YouTuber Kang Ji Goo, and Super Junior’s Choi Siwon plays the production manager Kang Book Goo.

Although the new teaser kicks off with the expected booze-filled party, Ahn So Hee then shockingly declares, “We’ve quit drinking.” She explains, “The day before her chemotherapy, Ji Yeon left, just like that.” After catching up with her, Ahn So Hee and Kang Ji Goo cheer their friend on, saying, “[We’re going to] do whatever you want to do and eat whatever you want to eat. We will do everything. In an attempt to escape and heal, the trio embark on a journey into the wilderness and adjust to their new life in the woods.

However, their retreat only lasts a brief moment as they soon return to the city and their usual drunken antics. Ahn So Hee reflects on the difficulties of her job as she tries to cast the busy members of BTS and realizes that the fame she had in mind has been doomed.

Han Ji Yeon joins a new yoga studio where her unbreakable spirit finally meets her equal in a daring yoga instructor played by Yoo In Young. In order to help his friends, Kang Ji Goo takes part-time jobs as a delivery boy and an origami instructor for the convicts. She ends up butting heads with a convict (played by Jo Yu Ri) to whom she comments, “You bent it wrong.” The convict asks, “So what?” and Kang Ji Goo replies, “It’s screwed up.” However, the convict does not back down and instead states firmly, “You tell us that, who have a criminal record?”

When Ahn So Hee mysteriously stops showing up for work, her colleague Kang Book Goo steps in to track her down and accidentally finds herself roped into the trio’s drunken antics.

Something else in store for the girls are romantic relationships, with Kang Ji Goo developing a bond with “Mr. Nice Paper” (Yoon Shi Yoon), whom she once met on Christmas in season 1. The relationship between Ahn So Hee and Kang Book Goo warms up quickly and intriguingly, as Ahn So Hee shows his affection in an unusual way Han Ji Yeon meets his love interest (played by Son Ho Jun) over a drink and he comments in a hilariously robotic tone: “This is the first time I’ve seen a girl funnier than me. Everyone, let’s clap!”
