In order to help potential candidates, the Sapulpa La Poste is organizing a job fair to fill immediately vacant positions in Associated Rural Transporter (RCA) and Assistant Rural Transporter (ARC). The starting hourly wage is: $19.50, paid fortnightly. During the career fair, USPS staff will be on hand to provide detailed job information and to answer questions.

Descriptions of available positions:
Associated Rural Transporter (RCA)
Salary: $19.50 per hour
An RCA delivers and collects packages along routes in rural areas during weekdays, weekends and holidays and can also provide a variety of services to customers along an assigned route. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and demonstrate and maintain a safe driving record. A CR may be required to use a personal vehicle if a postal vehicle is not provided and may be eligible to receive health benefits and be promoted to a career opportunity. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy staying active and working independently outdoors with occasional customer service interactions.
Assistant Rural Transporter (ARC)
Salary: $19.50 per hour
An ARC will deliver and collect packages and provide a variety of services to customers along an assigned rural route. The successful candidate may be required to provide their own vehicle for transportation. An ARC may choose to provide community services on weekends and holidays or up to seven days a week; depending on what suits their lifestyle. If you like to work outside, while keeping your week free, this position may be for you.
The USPS terms of employment include the following:
- Must be 18 at time of appointment or 16 with a high school diploma.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and medical evaluation.
- Must be a US citizen, permanent resident, citizen of American Samoa or another US territory.
- Must provide recent work history.
- Must have a clean driving record (if applying for a driving position).
