UPS Releases First Jobs and Opportunities Report

Industry-best salaries and opportunities drive top-notch customer service all year round

ATLANTA, Jan. 18, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — UPS (NYSE: UPS) released its first U.S. Jobs and Opportunity Report this morning. The report comes shortly after UPS welcomed 100,000 seasonal workers into roles that become stepping stones to professionally and personally fulfilling professional and economic opportunities.

The compensation and benefits offered to UPS employees are inextricably linked to the value and trust consistently seen in the UPS-customer relationship. In fact, UPSers delivered a 97.5% on-time delivery rate in the United States this past holiday season.

  • Industry-leading salaries and benefits. UPS offers industry-leading compensation packages for full-time package delivery drivers, who earn an average of $95,000 per year. Drivers’ total compensation (including health, welfare and pension contributions) averages $145,000 per year.
  • Part-time jobs with full-time benefits. Part-time jobs at UPS offer comparable, and often superior, health and retirement benefits to other full-time jobs in the logistics industry. Part-time employees receive pension contributions and each employee is eligible on the day of hire for a reimbursement of up to $25,000 in tuition fees.
  • To go up. UPS has one of the strongest and oldest cultures of internal promotion of any American company. Half of UPS’s executive ranks represent employees who have been promoted to leadership positions from entry-level positions.
