Travelodge is looking to fill 700 positions for the summer season

Travelodge, the UK’s second largest hotel chain which operates 594 hotels in the UK, Ireland and Spain, is looking to fill 700 positions immediately across the UK ahead of the summer Staycation season. These 700 permanent jobs are available immediately and include 640 positions at the group’s UK hotels and at the three new Travelodge hotels due to open this summer, including three new hotels in London, Docklands, Peckham and Wimbledon, as well as the first hotel in the group in Hexham.

The London Docklands, Wimbledon and Hexham Travelodge hotels are the company’s first newly built hotels to feature the company’s premium luxury look and feel.*

The 640 positions at Travelodge UK hotels include the following roles:

  • hotel manager
  • Assistant hotel manager
  • Member of the Bar Café team
  • Member of the reception team
  • housekeeping supervisor
  • Member of the housekeeping team

To support its hotel network, Travelodge is expanding its in-house maintenance team and is looking for 20 full-time maintenance engineers. Travelodge is the only budget hotel chain in the UK to have a dedicated in-house maintenance team of experts to support its UK hotels. Each engineer has their own network of hotels to maintain and a fully equipped van to allow them to travel through their network, as well as a full personal package including a branded uniform and high-quality tools.

Travelodge is also looking to fill 40 positions at its headquarters in Thame, Oxfordshire. These positions vary from administration to management roles in the following functions: customer services, finance, HR, IT, marketing, property, revenue, sales and operations in the UK.
