Oneida Nation raises starting salary for culinary hires to $20/hr

ONEIDA, NY – Oneida Nation Enterprises will increase the starting hourly wage for all entry-level cooks from $3 to $20 per hour, the best in the industry. The 17% increase means full-time cooks will earn an annual salary of at least $40,000, in addition to receiving generous healthcare, 401(k) benefits and being eligible for employee housing. . New culinary recruits also receive a $1,000 signing bonus. With nearly 30 iconic restaurants and dining venues across Oneida Nation Enterprises’ four casinos, ranging from fast-casual to Forbes Four-star rated gastronomy and culinary employees have many career development opportunities.

Oneida Nation Enterprises is also raising the starting wage for dishwashers to $18.50 per hour.
