According to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database, IT hiring at US-based Leidos Holdings increased 11.0% in March 2022 from the previous month.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 10.66% in March 2022 compared to February 2022.
IT jobs accounted for a 36.14% share of the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022 and grew 0.71% from the average share of the past three months.
Software and web developers, programmers and testers top Leidos Holdings IT hires in March 2022
Of the total number of IT job titles published by Leidos Holdings, software and web developers, programmers and testers emerged as the top occupation, recording a 47.32% share in March 2022 and a decline of 7 .66% from Feb 2022, while Database & Network Administrators & Architects claimed a 23.37% share in March 2022 and saw a decline of 8.61%. Computer and information researchers held an 11.49% share in March 2022, an increase of 23.71% from February 2022.
North America Boosts IT Hiring at Leidos Holdings
North America became the top region for global aerospace, defense and security IT recruitment activity in March 2022 with a share of 95.59%, which marked a decline of 3.57 % compared to the previous month.
Europe followed with 4.02%, recording a 40% decline month-on-month. The Middle East and Africa was the third region with a share of 0.29% and a decrease of 50% compared to February 2022.
Asia-Pacific was in fourth place with a 0.1% share and a monthly decline of 90%.
The United States dominated the region’s aerospace, defense and security industry IT recruitment activity with a share of 95.5% in March 2022, a decline of 3 .39% compared to February 2022. The United Kingdom was next with a share of 3.16%, down from 15.38% compared to the previous month. France recorded a share of 0.29%, a decrease of 85% compared to February 2022.
Mid-Level Jobs Lead Leidos Holdings IT Recruitment Activity in March 2022
Mid-level jobs held a 55.75% share, down 3% from February 2022. Junior-level positions with a 33.43% share, down 16.11% from the month previous.
In third place were entry-level vacancies with 10.06% market share, up 2.94% from February 2022, while senior vacancies accounted for 0.77%, registering a monthly increase of 166.67%.
