Kocho expands into South Africa as part of its international expansion

Cape Town, South Africa–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Kocho, the UK-based cybersecurity, identity, cloud transformation and managed services provider, announced today that it has established its operations in Cape Town, South Africa. South Africa is brimming with IT talent, so it’s the perfect location for our first African office,” said Des Lekerman, CEO of Kocho. “Ricardo’s background in IT, combined with his work in the financial industry, makes him the ideal person to set up and manage our operation in South Africa.”

Kocho is a fast-growing company that helps enterprises and midsize businesses embrace complex digital technologies while protecting against cyber threats. The Cape Town office responds to the growing demand for cybersecurity solutions and cloud managed services across many different industries, and particularly in finance, healthcare, manufacturing and professional services. The newly created DevOps roles tie directly into Kocho’s growing investment in cloud transformation and managed services capabilities.

“We are excited to see Kocho’s plans for growth in South Africa as its new office will create key jobs and support local economic stimulation,” said Reshni Singh, CEO of Business Process Enabling South Africa (BPESA) – the international trade body and industry association for Global Business Services (GBS) in South Africa. “In particular, we look forward to seeing Kocho deliver its diverse portfolio of services, including advanced managed digital services rooted in security.”
