H&M Sales Advisor – Eldon Square
Clothing chain H&M is looking to hire a full-time sales consultant to work in its Eldon Square store. The company, which prides itself on sustainability, says the ideal candidate must love people and fashion.
The permanent position is 35 hours per week and the successful candidate must be available to work five days from Monday to Sunday. The role will require excellent customer service skills and will see sales associates working as a team to create “an exceptional in-store shopping experience”.
Successful candidates will be eligible for store discounts, paid sick leave and annual leave.
Stylist Levi’s -Eldon Square
Iconic denim brand Levi’s is looking for a confident designer to join the team at Eldon Square store. The part-time position is eight hours per week, but overtime is available.
The store is looking for a passionate stylist who can use their knowledge of Levi’s products to help customers select items that meet their needs. Those joining the team will undergo extensive product knowledge training and sales skills training.
Levi’s says the role will be “crucial” to the store’s day-to-day success.
Krispy Kreme Retail Team Member -Eldon Square
No experience is necessary for this role at the Krispy Kreme booth in Eldon Square, as all training will be provided. Instead, candidates must have a good attitude to work and be a team player.
The part-time role will see the successful candidate serve Krispy Kreme donuts and drinks with “first class customer service”. Applicants must be 18 or older to apply for the position due to lone working.
Successful applicants will be paid £6.83 to £9.50 per hour and benefits include free donuts and free tea and coffee. Employees are also including discounts at select high street stores, including discounts on food purchases.
Bravissimo Vendors – Eldon Square
Swimwear and lingerie store Bravissimo is looking for saleswomen to join its team in Eldon Square – and no previous experience is necessary. Two jobs are offered, one for 12 hours and one for 16 hours per week.
The roles are on a six month fixed term contract and pay £9.50 an hour. The outlet stipulated that there is a genuine requirement that applicants must be female due to the nature of the job.
Training will be provided and successful candidates must have a passion for customer service and a desire to learn. The role will require working as a team to manage inventory, operate checkouts and provide bra fittings.
Member of retail trainset Greggs – Newcastle
The Greggs branch on Penn Street Newcastle is looking for a new member of staff to join their team serving customers on weekends.
The permanent role will see the successful candidate work Saturdays and Sundays, between 5am and 6:30pm. Customer service experience is ideal, but training will be provided.
Staff will be expected to provide prompt and friendly service, prepare popular Greggs products and keep the shop clean. Pay is £9.62 an hour or £8.18 an hour for those under 18.
Employees can also take advantage of a staff discount of up to 50% off and paid time off.
Sales Associate Hugo Boss – Fenwick
The Hugo Boss dealership in Fenwick Newcastle is looking for a part-time Salesperson to provide excellent customer service to buyers. Successful candidates must have previous retail experience and be able to act as a Hugo Boss brand ambassador.
Applicants should also have an understanding of the high-end fashion industry and good communication skills.
Housekeeper of the Malmaison Hotel – Newcastle Quayside
The Malmaison hotel needs a housekeeper to clean its guest rooms.
The permanent role is 30 hours per week, over five days, and will see the successful candidate working as part of the housekeeping team to ensure that all rooms are kept clean and tidy on a daily basis. Experience is not essential, but the role will require a level of fitness and the ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
Applicants will also need to have conversational English and the ability to work alone for periods of time. Pay is £10 an hour.
McDonald’s Team Member – Northumberland Street
McDonald’s is looking for a new member of staff to work at its busy restaurant in Newcastle city centre.
The full-time role will see the successful candidate working the checkouts, preparing food and serving customers. The chain wants to hire an energetic person who can work in a team and provide good customer service.
Cuban Revolution bar staff – Newcastle
Revolución de Cuba in the Cloth Market is looking to hire a number of full-time and part-time bar staff. Permanent roles will see staff working behind the bar for up to 45 hours a week after undergoing training.
Candidates must be available to work day and night shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Benefits include a 50% discount on all Revolution and Cuba Revolution sites nationwide and the opportunity to advance to a leadership position.
