Students, alumni and the public can meet more than 70 employers in person on November 2 at Husson University’s Newman Gymnasium
BANGOR – Husson University Career Services will host a job fair on Wednesday, November 2 at the Newman Gymnasium at 1 College Circle from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Over 70 different organizations, from a wide range of industries, will be present and looking to talk to job seekers about new career opportunities at their companies.
“Our students are interested in full-time positions, internships and part-time jobs,” said James Westhoff, director of career services. “Companies today need the types of educated and skilled graduates produced by Husson University. Area employers have told me that they like to hire Husson students because they have great work ethics and are ready to start making positive contributions to their organizations as soon as they cross the line. gate.
Participating organizations include both for-profit and not-for-profit companies. Financial services companies, healthcare organizations, insurance companies, casinos, educators and government entities are just a few of the types of employers who will be attending.
The event is free and open to all Husson University students, alumni and members of the public. No appointment is necessary for job seekers. Candidates can visit the job fair at their convenience. It is recommended that job seekers wear business attire.
The upcoming event will provide students, alumni and members of the public with information about career options they may not have considered before. Many of the employers attending this job fair are currently hiring. Other participating organizations are planning to have openings in the near future.
